The dusty single track to Puelo will lead you along Reloncavi Fjord deeply carved into the pre-andean hills which forms thus a unique landscape of sea and forested mountains. Having good weather you can sea our goal already from Cochamó: The snow-covered peaks of the Volcano Yates. In Puelo the approximation to the mount goes on by horse traveling through dense native forests. The next section of our expedition begins at the snow limit where we leave the horses at our basecamp. The next day we attack the peak having passed a large hiking tour - paradoxically with sea in sight - due to the geographic position of Yates Volcano. The same day we get back to our basecamp. Full of impressions of the hiking tour to the peak we go on by horse enjoying the natural wonders of this place that far away from civilization.
