In Ensenada
(50 km from Puerto Varas) we cross by car the secondary forests
on the foothill of Calbuco volcano to get to our starting point.
Soon we cross Blanco River to continue our way across meadows
with an unforgettable view over Llanquihue Lake with Osorno
Volcano in the background. We penetrate thick native forests
with giant trees, climbing plants, mosses and lichens creating
an atmosphere of untouched nature which lets us belief that
we were the discoverers of this wonderful place on earth. We
also may observe native birds and animals in their habitat.
The day finishes with a typical supper at a country house.
