The dusty single track to Puelo will lead you along Reloncavi Fjord deeply carved into the pre-andean hills which forms thus a unique landscape of sea and forested mountains. Having good weather you can sea our goal already from Cochamó: The snow-covered peaks of the Volcano Yates. In Puelo the approximation to the mount goes on by horse travelling two days through dense native forests. The next section of our expedition begins at the snow limit where we leave the horses at our basecamp. The third day we attack the peak having passed a large hiking tour - paradoxically with sea in sight - due to the geographic position of the Yates. The same day we get back to our basecamp. Full of impressions of the hiking tour to the peak we pass two days on horseback enjoying the natural wonders of this place that far away from civilization.

What you need to bring:
· waterproof parka and pants and waterproof trekking boots, inner isolating layer (fleece or wool), hiking socks, gloves, T-shirt, shorts, 1 backpack (60lt), sun screen, sun hat and sunglasses (with good UV filter!), headlamp, sleeping bag.
